Aaron Bracy started Big5Hoops.com to share his passion for writing and Philadelphia college basketball. Bracy has been covering sports in Philadelphia since 1997. He has worked as a sportswriter at the Trenton Times, a sports copy editor and TV/radio columnist at the Courier-Post and sports editor at The Trentonian. Since 2008, he has served as a freelancer for the Associated Press, where he began his career as an undergraduate at Saint Joseph’s University. Bracy spent 11 years as a classroom teacher and currently is employed by McGraw Hill as a Senior Academic Designer. He is the author of A Soaring Season: The Incredible, Inspiring Story of the 2003-04 Saint Joseph’s Hawks (Brookline). He is currently working on his second book, on Allen Iverson and the 2001 76ers.
